"Date Night" Every married couple needs that occasional "date night."  Within the church, events that are geared towards couples are often centered around learning, usually utilizing one of the many quality curriculums available today.  There is nothing wrong with that and it surely has an important place within the life of the church.  Keith, however, wants to offer an alternative to the ordinary.  "Date Night" events are church sponsored evenings that begin with a catered dinner and ends with a humorous magic show specifically designed for married couples.  There is no video.  No workbooks.  No small-group activities.  It just an evening of fun!  It's a time for couples to enjoy being together within a healthy Christian atmosphere. Specifics: Show: 30 minutes of comedy and interactive illusions. Audience: Limited to 50 couples Dinner: This will be the responsibility and only financial cost to the sponsoring church.  Dinners have ranged from grilled hamburgers to steak.  Tickets: This is a ticketed event.  The cost per couple is very reasonable and less than two tickets to a movie.
