One of the things that disappoints me is the number of pastors that are satisfied with being "just god enough" in the pulpit. They say things like, "I don't want to entertain people; I just tell them what the Bible says and leave the rest up to God."
I agree with the second part of that but...God deserves out best!
If you want people to be touched by the Word of God...they have to hear it!
And they won't hear it if they are asleep!!!
If you look at my website and speak to people that have heard me speak, you will find that God has gifted me in that area. I don't tell you that to brag; but rather, to simply tell you that I know what I am doing. Now, I will admit that part of being a great speaker is a God-given gift. But...there are things that one can learn that will bring immediate improvements to their speaking.
